School Art Competition

The School Art Competition will be staged for the third time at the 2018 Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong, with local Geelong primary school children invited to submit their works for display during the Festival and a chance to win some great prizes.

Students are asked to complete an art work on the theme: 

“ENDEAVOURS – Wind; Water; Courage”

The competition is open in the following categories;

• Junior Primary – Year 3 Individual Artists (Awarded Sunday 3.30pm)
• Junior Primary – Year 4 Individual Artists (Awarded Sunday 3.30pm)
• Senior Primary – Year 5 Individual Artists (Awarded Sunday 3.30pm)
• Senior Primary – Year 6 Individual Artists (Awarded Sunday 3.30pm)
• People’s Choice – People’s Choice will be voted by Festival attendees during Saturday 10th,
  & Sunday 11th March to 1.00pm. (Awarded Sunday 3.30pm)
