THURSDAY 8TH MARCH, 2018
Cruising Group Dinner, 6:30pm – BOOK HERE (Tickets – $35)
As is tradition, the 2018 Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong will “unofficially” kick off with the March Cruising Group Dinner on Thursday 8th March. We are fortunate to have round the world sailor, Dave Isom, as our guest speaker for this dinner.
Dave has recently completed a 4 year journey around the world and will regale us with tales of his adventures. Bookings are now open for the WBF Cruising Group dinner and are just $35.
SATURDAY 10TH MARCH, 2018
Whisky Tasting, 7pm – BOOK HERE (Tickets – $45)
Guests will enjoy tastings of premium whisky brands presented by Ian Baxter of Single Malt Whisky P/L, all while being on board the tall ship Alexander Stewart.
Enjoy cheese platters to accompany the tasting.
Two sessions are on offer – one to be held on Saturday 10th March and the second to be held on Sunday 11th March. Both will begin at 7pm
SUNDAY 11TH MARCH, 2018

The Wooden Boat Festival Presentation Dinner is a highlight of the Festival, with major trophies presented and a chance to socialise and network with fellow wooden boat enthusiasts. In 2018, we are pleased to have renowned Sydney Skiff sailor and author, Mr. Ian Smith as our guest speaker. Ian has recently released his book, “The Open Boat” which details the origin, evolution and construction of the Australian 18 ft Skiff. Tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!
